HOW TO ORDER

To place your order, please contact Cristiane through the contact form or send an e-mail to crissycatt@cristianetano.com to verify her availability. Due to the handicraft nature of the items, the number of monthly orders is limited to ensure all items are delivered in a timely manner. Also contact Cristiane for a personal quote on custom orders.

After expressing your interest in ordering an item, Cristiane will reserve a place on her wait-list and will notify you when available to fulfill and confirm your order, no payment is required until then.

The time it takes to make each order varies according to it’s complexity and demand, usually taking 15 days for Collection items, and 45 days for custom commissions after payment is received and excluding shipping times. Some custom commissions may require a mock-up fitting; transit times for the mock-up and it’s approval vary greatly and cannot be accounted on the 45 days period.

Maintaining a good communication throughout the ordering process is of the utmost importance. Therefore attention and promptness in responding e-mails from Cristiane are essential and help speed up the process. Failing to do so may cause delays on the completion of your order.

For original custom commissions, a fee is required to provide sketches of the design; this fee will be deducted from the total amount once the order is confirmed. Reproduction of Cristiane’s designs by third-parties is prohibited.  A contract will be drawn with all the specifications from the commission and the rights and obligations both parties must comply with.

All items are made to order with the exception of occasional samples.

PAYMENTS

Payments from international clients can be made via PayPal or International Money Transfer. For clients living in Brazil, payments can be made via bank deposit, PayPal and PagSeguro. Payments made through PayPal must come from verified accounts.

Custom commission payments are made in two installments, a 40% installment at the time the order is confirmed, and the 60%  remainder plus shipping fees after the order is completed.

Collection items must be paid in full after order confirmation.

CANCELATIONS

Orders can be canceled until 7 days after order confirmation without penalties or monetary loss. After that period, Cristiane reserves the right to charge for whatever service and expenses that were made until the cancellation.

Unpaid orders or orders that fail to provide accurate and consistent info will be canceled after 7 days.

If Cristiane is unable to fulfill your order in a timely manner or due to force majeure, the order will be canceled and a refund of the amount paid will be issued.

Please note that most countries have a maximum US$1000 insurance and Postal Box shipping is not available in some countries.

Before making an order, make sure that there are no Custom restrictions for Brazilian products made with leather, which might make delivery impossible.

All orders are sent with full insurance and require signature upon delivery. Shipping costs must be paid by the client and an estimate can be obtained by contacting Cristiane.

The client is responsible for any Custom duties fees/taxes and shipping charges. International clients please bear in mind that Custom’s fees might be applicable and can increase your expenses considerably.

Please contact Cristiane immediately if there are missing items, damaged goods or if items don’t match your order. Refuse delivery if packaging shows signs of damage and violation and promptly notify Cristiane.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

All orders are thoroughly checked for quality prior to shipping, if your order presents a defect or if you are dissatisfied with the quality of your order, please contact Cristiane within 7 days of delivery so arrangements can be made.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be intact, without any signs of wear, with tags and inside their original package. Items must be in their original condition, unwashed, unworn and free of odors. Items that have been altered and repaired will not be eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Cristiane will issue a return request that should be presented to the postal office when mailing the item. Items returned should be accompanied by its original invoice and return form filled and printed.

Do not mail any item prior to arranging the return, Cristiane reserves the right to refuse delivery in this condition.

Once the item is delivered back to Cristiane, she will analyze if the item meets the criteria for refunds and exchanges and will contact the client to arrange a refund or exchange within 7 days. Cristiane is exempt of accepting the return if there is any divergence with the criteria previously outlined and the item will be sent back to the client without any amends or financial restitution.
